Boxing Day is here: A day usually full of exchanges, returns, SALES, and indulging in leftover Christmas dinner.
Can’t even lie, personally EYE know that EYE have satisfied my stomach.
However, legend says that historically, Boxing Day was the day that people would box up gifts, money, and food and give to those less fortunate.
In a way, we still do this with charities and other organisations creating projects and campaigns to raise awareness and give people the opportunity to reach out financially and in other ways.

But there’s also a beautiful personal gift, that is the best gift anyone can give and the best gift anyone can receive. And it’s never too late to give it. It’s available in and out of season! The Gift of Life.
If you are a Christian, you should know that there are people out there who need you – who need Jesus in you.
I read a quote once that said,
“You may be the only bible some people ever read”.
How are you going to show the world Jesus? How will they know of His life and love that He gave so freely to them? As Christians, we must demonstrate the character of God in everything we do. We give cheerfully, out of love, and without expecting anything in return.
We are already taken care of, so it is our duty as custodians of the world to take care of others.

Sometimes I think to myself, “What can I even give?” – It may not always be money or gifts. There are even more important ways to show your care. Giving something you already have: maybe it’s an item of clothing you haven’t used before that’s still in good condition; calling someone; praying for someone; making something for them – and the most obvious, as mentioned before – telling them about Jesus!
My point here is that we need to make sure we’re doing everything to spread the Gospel of Love and helping people in every way we can.
So, reach out to someone during this period. Those far and even those close by; that friend, that family member, essential workers, that homeless man who sits by the corner…
During this period especially – it can get lonely, cold, and challenging for people both physically and mentally (not to mention the added challenge of the recent lockdown and restrictions). Don’t ignore their voice. God wants you to always be a blessing to others who may not be as blessed as you.

Like God, we too Love the World, and therefore, we give.
And if you’re not a Christian, and you’ve come across this post and want to know more about Jesus, there is something you can do too!
Jesus loves you, and He wants what’s best for you, like I said in my last post: He was actually born for you – that’s why this season is so important – The Word of God was made flesh for your benefit so that you could be all that you are meant to be in Christ Jesus. A whole new lease of life, no strings attached! He wants you to know Him personally.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
– Romans 10:9 NIV
You can be a Child of God today and it’s as simple as saying a short prayer with me:
“O Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ. I believe with all my heart in Jesus Christ, Son of the living God. I believe He died for me and God raised Him from the dead. I believe He’s alive today. I confess with my mouth that Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life from this day. Through Him and in His Name, I have eternal life; I’m born again. Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul! I’m now a child of God. Hallelujah!”
If you said this prayer, please click here to get in touch! Congratulations & Welcome to the family – I love you!
God Bless You,
Keep Shining & Winning!✨👑
