Month of Wisdom

The Dictionary Definition of Wisdom is:

‘The quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgement; the quality of being wise.’

This is true. However, wisdom is also about application. If you know something or have good judgement but do not use it then is that really wise?

“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise”

– Ephesians 5:15

Perfect wisdom comes from God – Godly wisdom; that’s that wisdom money can’t buy and can’t be taught with materials outside of God’s Word.

“But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.”

– James 3:17

You see – The more we study The Word, the more The Holy Spirit imparts your spirit with His wisdom. Wisdom is not determined by ones age, being based on physically maturity, but in spiritual maturity. As you grow in His Word, you become wiser and wiser as Wisdom rules yours life. This is what God’s word was given to us for: to make us wise, to meditate on it and to use to fight life’s battles and challenges that may come our way.

“For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”

– Proverbs 2:6

There’s a lot happening right now in the world, so much change and confusion and a lot of people don’t know what they’re doing or what they’re proving. Opinions and facts of the world change as the wind blows – But the wisdom that is the Word of God is always consistent. God doesn’t change and He is His word, which means His word never changes. The best thing to do in this life that we are living is to stay in it and act accordingly.

This is because the Wisdom of God gives us perfect understanding and if you open your heart to wisdom you will have this understanding. This world is not hard to navigate when you have the Wisdom of God controlling your life.

“Get skilful and godly Wisdom, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation); do not forget and do not turn back from the words of my mouth. Forsake not [Wisdom], and she will keep, defend, and protect you; love her, and she will guard you. The beginning of Wisdom is: get Wisdom (skilful and godly Wisdom)! [For skilful and godly Wisdom is the principal thing.] And with all you have gotten, get understanding (discernment, comprehension, and interpretation).”

– Proverbs 4:5-7

I love the AMPC because in the scripture above it explains exactly what kind of wisdom to have. There are different types of wisdom but the bible is very specific in the kind we need.

Don’t let the confusion in the world overwhelm you. Use the Wisdom of God to navigate your everyday life. And as you study the word and spend time with The Holy Spirit in fellowship this will become easier and easier. Wisdom is to be applied to everything you do! That’s where the impact of the knowledge and understating lies.

God’s wisdom is greater than man’s wisdom and always will be (There’s a reason why King Solomon asked for it!), so we need to be in tune with Him and sensitive to His guidance that He gives through His word and by The Holy Spirit. This ensures a beautiful life living in and with Him.

Keep Shining & Winning!✨👑
