Light Up

It’s been almost 2 weeks since the beginning of August, which means 2 weeks into our Month of The Shining Light!
But 2 weeks in does not mean 2 Weeks left to shine your light or that your light should be getting dimmer with every passing moment. If anything, we should be getting brighter, the more we walk in the light.

Just because it may seem like the month isn’t going exactly the way you thought it would doesn’t mean that there’s nothing to be happy about.

Remember, we can create our own happiness, because everything we need to be successful and live a glorious life, is inside of us.

We shouldn’t let circumstances determine our wellbeing and let seemingly negative situations dampen our light.

You were meant to shine and don’t let anybody or any situation try and tell you different.

“You are the light of [Christ to] the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.”

– Matthew 5:14-15

When you feel like things aren’t going your way, remember that the glory of God is inside of you and that is a greater truth than what you may feel. This glory allows us to function in the excellence and greatness of God, because He is a part of us as we are in Him.

Negative situations may come up to try and contradict God’s Word but the best thing for us to do is to keep the light inside of us burning and shining out, and to continue dwelling in the word and speaking the Word.

We shouldn’t take the things of God for granted.

The Word never gets old and never changes – so the same Word that said you were the light of the World yesterday is the same Word that is saying it today. And the more we walk with God and in His word, the more we discover the beauty of Him and eventually ourselves.

“But we Christians have no veil over our faces; we can be mirrors that brightly reflect the glory of the Lord. And as the Spirit of the Lord works within us, we become more and more like him.”

– 2 Corinthians 3:18

So, don’t forget who you are and never give up on the Word. When challenges come your way, believe in what God has said concerning you and confess it true.

Darkness does not overcome you, because you have already overcome, so use your light to shine through. Light up your world for yourself and others.

Keep Shining & Winning!✨👑
xoxo
