A Sailor Went To Sea

A lot of times for us young people, when people ask us what we want to do with our lives it’s like “here we go again” And yes I agree, it can be annoying to be asked that all of your youthful life BUT really though, what are we doing? 

You can be anything and everything you want to be. You may not know it straight away but that is what prayer and The Holy Spirit is there for, to guide us on our right path to success and a victorious life. 

The Holy Spirit will help guide you to make the right choices. He lives inside of us and is ready to help us fulfil God’s best plan for our lives. 

Without guidance from God, law and order disappear, but God blesses everyone who obeys his Law.

– Proverbs 29:18

You don’t have to feel lost or confused; or as if you don’t know who you are or what to do; or even like there is not order to your life. 

The best thing to do is allow Him to lead and direct us and that way, we are sure we cannot fail in whatever it is we do.

Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.

– Isaiah 30:21

We shouldn’t rely on just ourselves and our own knowledge of life and situations, but on God. He is the one who gives our lives a meaning and we should trust in Him to make our lives beautiful successes through listening, acting and confessing His word and following His plan. 

Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart. And do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

– Proverbs 3:5

As a child of God, we come from a line of winners, champions, the victors. We have been graced with the awesomeness of God. To put it short – we’re pretty special…

So, never let anyone tell you that can’t do anything or be anything and don’t let anything stop you, including yourself. Dive deeper into what’s in store for you, think about and speak into your future. Find out how you are going to make an impact – know who you are in Christ and the question of what you’re doing with your life will never be hard to answer.

Don’t let only what you can see from your boat be all that there is. There’s always more under the surface …
