He Loves Me

Many of us who went to Sunday school will remember the lyrics to one of our favourite songs we used to sing every Sunday:

Sometimes, it would even turn into a competition of who could sing it the loudest.

YES! JESUS LOVED ME!!!! 🎉

When we were young, it seemed so easy to confess these things. So easy to sing and shout and let everyone know that you a have God that loves you and will always love you. We were sure of this.

He gave you His love and everlasting life and so much more. He didn’t even ask for you to change who you were so that He could accept you, He loved you even when you didn’t believe.

“And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.”

Romans 5:5

Sometimes when things aren’t going our way or we do something wrong, we forget about God’s love and plans for us. God isn’t like man, His love isn’t conditional or wavering; it’s unconditional and everlasting.

“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Romans 5:8

Also, we have to remember that no matter what may come our way – Our lives are in the hands of the Lord and I don’t know about you but I wouldn’t want my life to be in anybody else’s but God’s. (He has a never ending, ever increasing, success rate. 100% Satisfaction guaranteed.

Trust in Him and His Word and His Love – it can only produce good things.

This is the proof that there is no reason anyone should think God doesn’t love or care for them. He is love, therefore he can’t do any differently. He is who He is and nothing can change that.

Don’t try and read God’s mind from the perspective of your circumstances. You aren’t are alone. God is always with you and will never leave you. Whatever you have done or you think you have done, God still loves you. It can never be too late.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

– Romans 8:38

Anytime you feel differently just say to yourself:

“God loves me, I am His child, I am a part of His Heavenly Kingdom”
You are loved by the Most High.

What could be greater, what could be better than that?
