It’s a Man’s World

Welcome to the Month of February!

And the year just keeps getting better.

January was a busy month, as everyone was getting back to business and it seems like it flew right by. We shouldn’t loose that momentum but continue to go upwards and forwards, only stopping to bring others along on the Journey of Success with us!

Today’s blog is about you. Well, everyone on Earth that is.

It’s easy sometimes – especially when allowing ourselves to be influenced by things going on in the natural world, other people and our senses – to think “Why bother praying?” Or “Why bother doing anything at all? Surely God sees and knows what’s going on in the World, why does he need us to speak up or act before he does anything?”

Trust me, I used to have these moments a lot, when I’d just think “But God, you know what’s happening, so what’s up?” But then if I’m thinking this that means I’m doubting God which I shouldn’t be because I know there’s nothing He cannot do. He is God. In fact, God has already done all He needs to do, all that needs to be done – it’s us who have to play our part.

You see the thing is, this is a man’s world. And God needs us for certain matters concerning this world before He can intervene. When we pray, when we speak up; we are making it possible for an intervention. We control the situation.

If there’s a problem, God needs your consent to step in. Just like if someone’s house was robbed, the police would still need their permission before they can get involved and go forward with the case, because the house belongs to that person. So wondering why God doesn’t just “make the pain go away” when you haven’t asked or spoken to Him about it is like wondering why the police haven’t solved the case when they haven’t been given permission to be involved in the investigation.

God wants you to depend on Him, but you can’t do that if you won’t let Him in all the way.

Having said that, This life that we live on earth is our responsibility, which means we’re the ones who need to act to do something about what goes on here. We need to use the power God has given us to change situations, and circumstances. God’s part in all this is to guide us through His word and The Holy Spirit, so that we make the right decisions. Life doesn’t just happen to you. Everything we are today is based off choices we’ve made.

I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.

 – Deuteronomy 30:19

You don’t like how things are going with your life and around you? Then choose to change it! We can be anything we want to be, successful, rich, smart, healthy. So don’t settle for anything less than the best! God wants us to be (and as a Christian he has made you to be) all these wonderful things and much more, but we have to make that choice to act on and live by His word so that we can be all the God has made us to be.

Instead of feeling sad about what’s going on in the world, pray about it, say what you want to see and inspire others to turn to God so that they may join you in prayer and speaking and take action also ensuring that better life. Take charge of your life and don’t let outside circumstances run it for you, because it is from within that the power comes from to make that change you want/need.

Think God, speak God, act God. He’s given you the power to make things happen. To shake this world.

Complaining about what’s happening around us rather than doing something about it will not stop that thing we’re complaining about from happening.

We’re the light of the world, we’re the ones bringing hope to people and asking them to have faith. This world is God’s creation and it is ours for the taking.

Enjoy your week!

*I was actually going to talk about Love this week. However after being inspired by the daily devotional Rhapsody of Realities by Rev. Chris Oyakhilome for the month of February, I decided to change the topic last minute because the Word I’ve been receiving for this month has been too much to ignore.

Keep Shining & Winning!✨👑
