Hey guys!
I trust everyone’s week has been blessed!
Since the first post was just a post to launch us into the new year, I’ll say welcome again and thanks for reading.
I know most of us will have gone back to school or work this week and so the “chaos” begins. School runs, exams, repeatedly checking bus times, rush hour and all that jazz. But while everything seems to be moving at full speed already, we mustn’t forget ourselves or be lost in the confusion.
Over the next few weeks is the perfect time to plan and prepare yourself for the year ahead. Instead of rushing into things, we should take time to pray and plan out our days. Now that we’ve gotten back on schedule, we can carefully and appropriately apply God’s Word to our daily lives and agenda’s.
We should take time to meditate and pray so that we will continue to grow and achieve all that we can. Don’t underestimate yourself or God. If He can do all things and He lives in us, then surely that means so can we.
As Christians whatever we do will prosper, so don’t worry about how fast everything seems to be moving right now set your focus on Jesus and do not be distracted. Sometimes it may feel like we’re too busy dealing with life to study the word or to take time out to pray, but we have to remember that there’s always time for God, when He is a part of your life.

You’ll even start to notice that the more time you spend with God and His Word, the smoother things start to run. This is because by praying and studying (especially in the mornings) you have set yourself to have a great day already. There is no way your day cannot continue to be blessed after you’ve spent time talking with God and confessing His word!
Keeping our minds focused on God and His word will surely certify us a life of true success. Our minds are a doorway to our spirit, and out of our spirit are the issues of life. This is why we have to get God’s word into our system, to prepare ourselves correctly for a change in any situation or circumstance.
You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.
– Isaiah 26:3
Be prepared to pray more than ever.
Be prepared to study more than ever.
Be prepared to grow more than ever.
Be prepare to shine and win like never before.
This year let people know just how Great our God is!
And if [we are His] children, [then we are His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His spiritual blessing and inheritance], if indeed we share in His suffering so that we may also share in His glory.
– Romans 8:17
So this week make it your mission to spend more time with God so that he can prepare you for what’s to come.
Keep Shining & Winning
xoxo
